In the early stages of the war, many companies offered various support programs for employees and family members, some of which are still ongoing. The global world of corporate responsibility/ESG is undergoing a profound change in the form of mandatory regulation for issues that were previously voluntary. The move is being led by the European Union, which has published mandatory requirements for European companies and those operating on the continent and/or part of the supply chain. This process has significant implications for the way the field is managed. Already, a number of companies in Israel are expected to be affected by the legislative requirements, and in the future, their number will likely increase. The discussion presented the main regulatory frameworks, their possible implications for companies in Israel, and the manner in which leading companies are preparing for them.
